"Nature is not digitised nor does it live through the latest smart-phone or app. It is beautiful and joyous and if I can capture some of that essence and bring it into your home, your office or work-space and your lives then my work as an artist in sharing and providing opportunities for peace and tranquility in your life will have been entirely worthwhile."

Originally from Todmorden, West Yorkshire, Fiona spent 30-years living and working in Zimbabwe as a scientist, 10-years of which was also spent engaged in conservation. During that time her greatest passion was walking in nature and taking photographs in the African bush. Using these photos as inspiration, she became an extremely popular artist in the southern African region and her paintings from solo and group exhibitions have homes in private collections all over the world.
She has now returned to live in Kirkcudbright and whilst she continues to draw from her catalogue of African wildlife photographs, she has now expanded her palate and gallery of subjects to include a wide range of UK wildlife and domestic species.
Welcome to my gallery. I hope you enjoy browsing through my paintings and that you find one that truly sings to your heart.
