Long tailed tits on willow

Long-tailed tits perched among willow branches original artwork

Long tailed tits frequently visit my garden, I get so excited and rush off to pick up my camera, but I have yet to capture more than a couple of good photos of them; they swoop in in a bunch and then are gone as quickly as they arrived. I was however determined to paint them so I approached a local photographer who kindly allowed me to use her photos for artistic reference; grateful thanks to Caroline Legg.

Available as an original pastel painting, open edition fine art prints, and stretched  canvases.

Limited edition prints  are available on request.

At the heart of nature

I am entirely self-taught. Whenever possible I draw from my own photographs. My aim is to create expressive art works that convey the beauty and emotion of nature in all its diversity.
