WHERE ARE YOU BASED?

I am based in south-west Scotland, in the UK. 

All my UK and EU print orders are fulfilled by a UK fine art printer and a local framer.

All US and Canada orders are fulfilled by a Canadian fine art print company.

 

WHAT MATERIALS DO YOU USE?

• ORIGINALS

My artwork is produced on a premium acid-free archival support (toothed paper) which prevents the pastels from moving. Original pastel drawings are then professionally mounted and framed under glass that does not touch the artwork. No fixatives are used as these might eventually cause discolouration. High lightfast pastels should never crack, darken, fade or yellow over time, thus leaving the artwork unchanged despite the passing of many years.

The details section of each original painting will have a description of the specific frame and mount used .

• LIMITED EDITION PRINTS

To produce these prints, the original pastel paintings are professionally photographed and reproduced on Giclée archival paper: Hahnemühle Fine Art Photorag (matt finish). This paper has an archival life of at least 80 years, and is printed with ultra wide gamut inks (11 inks) at 2880 x 1440 dots per square inch (DPI). Paper weight is 308 gsm.

Please note that because sizes are shown in either cm or inch depending on the country of purchase, the sizing is approximate and it is highly recommended to only purchase the frame when the print has arrived.

 • CANVAS PRINTS

Prints are produced or premium (Daguerre) fine art quality canvas (400gsm)

The prints are exceptional quality and capture almost all the detail of the original.

IS THERE A WAY TO SEE WHAT THE ARTWORK MIGHT LOOK LIKE ON MY WALL BEFORE BUYING?

Yes, if you are on my mailing list, you can request a room 'mockup'. Simply send me a picture of the wall you'd like to place the art on, with some of the room included in the shot, and I will create a mockup for you to show you how the artwork will look in situ.

 

 DO YOU OFFER BESPOKE COMMISSIONS?

Yes I offer commissions as long as it is in the style I paint and I have free artistic license within the brief. I.e. you state the size, colour, style etc and I will create the work. 

 

CARDS

Colour accurate replicas of original paintings are available as blank greetings cards.

  • Cards can be bought individually or in multiples.
  • 10% discount when buying more than 10 cards of the same design.
  • How cool to buy your own original and then have cards of the same design to send to your friends.
