Collection: By candlelight

I have wanted to create a picture that evokes the Christmas season for some years now. I spent a lot of time with this little robin last winter as I widened the back lane behind our house. He was great company, but in reality he was more interested in the worms and grubs than listening to me chatter on. Despite his fluffed out feathers, his little legs were so thin - I think he would appreciate the warm glow of a candle on cold crispy days.
