Weighing the hops

Weighing the hops

We have plenty of young rabbits around in spring and summer and I thought this balancing act was fun for them!  While I was thinking and sketching ideas for this picture one day, I was also chatting to my brother on the phone while he was working on his home brew (personal consumption only - obvs) - he mentioned that he was in the process of weighing the hops!

At the heart of nature

I am entirely self-taught. Whenever possible I draw from my own photographs. My aim is to create expressive art works that convey the beauty and emotion of nature in all its diversity.
