1. You can be forgiven for not seeing much here. Because I use a toothed paper, I can't use an eraser on it, so the first outlines have to be precise. To do this, I make an initial sketch on paper and then transfer it to the toothed paper when I am happy that the dimensions and detail are in the correct place. This can be done with a grid system, dividers or a light tracing, depending on the final size.
