Hornel's letterbox - an original pastel painting

Based on a photograph taken in the late afternoon sun of the letter box at Broughton House in Kirkcudbright, a Scottish National Trust property that was once the home of artist Edward Atkinson Hornel.

Picture size: 24.5 x 32 cm

Frame: 50 mm Flat Obeche with lip / 16 mm gold leaf slip. Colour is Farrow and Ball 'Railings', which is a very dark grey, almost black.
